Just look at that technique. Hand-pulled, hand-cut and made fresh right in front of you. Welcome to Xi'an Xian on Lyngbyvej in Østerbro, serving authentic Xi'an-style street food where everything, from the menu to the prep, is made to order.
Xi’an Xian sits on Lyngbyvej in Østerbro, and the theatre is part of the draw: noodles hand-pulled and stretched in front of you, and, yes, a robot chef that hand-cuts noodles too, half chef, half machine, fully entertaining. Good prices, big portions, fast service.

The biang biang noodles are hand-pulled, thick and stretched to perfection, then topped with braised pork, fresh vegetables, garlic and chili, and finished with a splash of hot oil right before serving to wake it all up.

The biang biang noodles first. Fried chicken. A version served in a rich beef broth, warm and comforting with tender braised beef, bok choy and sprouts. The Xi’an-style burger, warm flatbread filled with braised meat, simple, soft and full of flavor. The robot-cut noodles with braised duck, rich and tender. And the hand-stretched zha jiang mian, thinner wheat noodles with minced meat, sauce and fresh vegetables, light, silky and saucy. Do not skip the cucumber salad, cold and refreshing with a warm spiced kick, or the crispy dumplings, solid crunch and a rich, straightforward bite.

Great for a casual noodle craving or a quick comfort-food fix on the Østerbro side of town, solo or with a friend who wants to watch the noodle-pulling. Big portions and fair prices make it an easy, satisfying stop.
Hand-pulled noodles, tender meats and a menu worth coming back for.
But now… the real question is… where do we go next?
