Want all the Asian hits in one cozy spot in Copenhagen? This is Mooc Pho & Sushi on Østerbro, a relaxed hangout with a full Asian menu: fresh sushi, tasty sticks and warm, comforting noodle soups all under one roof.
Mooc sits on Odensegade in Østerbro and plays the all-rounder, which is exactly its strength. Sushi, grilled sticks, dumplings and noodle soups all on one menu means it is the place for a table where everyone wants something different.

We started by sharing the warm mix of sticks and bites: salmon teriyaki, bacon-wrapped asparagus and chicken karaage, all crowd pleasers. Then the sushi, starting with salmon sashimi topped with trout roe, super fresh and melt-in-your-mouth soft, and tuna sashimi with wakame, sesame and a light dressing. A colorful spread followed: fresh shrimp rolls with mango, flamed salmon with trout roe, and one with crayfish tails that stood out as something truly different. Then the dumplings, steaming hot: classic shrimp har gow and juicy pork siu mai.

A comforting pork noodle soup, tender pork and chewy noodles in a rich, tasty broth, pulled together with a squeeze of lime and a spoon of chili crisp. One last melon Ramune for the road, the Japanese soda with the glass marble inside, refreshing and a little nostalgic.

When your friends cannot agree on what Asian food to eat, this is the answer, because there is a little something for everyone. Great for a casual group dinner where one person gets sushi, one gets pho and one gets sticks, and the table stays happy.
But now… the real question is… where do we go next?
