This is where Japan meets Mexico, in a taco. Welcome to Tacosu at Nørrebro Street Food, combining the best of both worlds. We were invited, as part of our complete Nørrebro Street Food guide.
Tacosu is a stall at Nørrebro Street Food on Lygten, and the whole idea is playful fusion done with intention: Japanese ingredients, Mexican technique, in formats that feel familiar and new at once. It is the kind of stall that makes a food hall fun.

It starts with a crispy shell made from nori and rice paper, filled with sushi rice. House sauces go in first, including a spicy mayo, followed by salad, fresh avocado, cucumber and raw salmon. It is finished with more sauce, tobiko, spring onions, crispy toppings and sesame, then packed into their signature easy-to-handle package, cute, practical and made to travel. The crisp shell, bright vegetables, silky salmon and sauces come together familiar in a good way, but still something genuinely new, both visually and in flavor.

The yakisoba starts in a hot wok: an egg cracked in, then onions, carrots and cabbage for sweetness, crunch and depth, all tossed together. The yakisoba noodles go in with tangy sauces that coat everything, tossed again and again to build flavor before it comes off the wok, then finished with beef, spring onions and crispy onions. Rich, savory and ready to eat.

Perfect for a food-hall graze where you want something different from the usual: grab a sushi taco or a box of yakisoba, split with the table, and let everyone try both. Fun fusion that actually delivers on flavor.

But now… the real question is… where do we go next?
