Discoteca Eatery

Pan-Asian · Kødbyen

Asian umbrellas in the ceiling, prawn tempura and bao buns on the table. Discoteca Eatery is a newer spot in Copenhagen's Meatpacking District, and it is dinner with personality, music and a little disco attitude.

The place

Discoteca Eatery sits in Kødbyen, the Meatpacking District, and it leans hard into vibe: low lighting, bright color pops and a ceiling full of Asian umbrellas. The cocktails are on point and the room has real energy, so it is as much a night out as a dinner.

What we ate

We went for the tasting menu, a flavor-packed mix of street food and comfort dishes, bold, shareable and seriously good with cocktails. Prawn crackers to start, always a win. Prawn tempura with chili mayo, light, crispy and addictive. Cauliflower with peanut sauce and fresh herbs. Juicy chicken meatballs glazed in hoisin. A cold, crunchy spicy cucumber salad with just the right kick. And steamed bao buns with beef and coriander to close the savory run.

The drinks

Cocktails are a real part of the experience here, well made and matched to the shareable, bold food, which fits the disco-leaning mood of the room perfectly.

Who it is for

Come with a group who want dinner with some personality and a soundtrack, order the tasting menu so you get a bit of everything, and keep the cocktails flowing. It is dinner with music and attitude, not a quiet table.

But now… the real question is… where do we go next?
