El Goldie sits on Griffenfeldsgade in Nørrebro, narrow and cozy with a lot of personality packed into it. It does the full sit-down Mexican experience, from raw bar bites to tacos to serious cocktails, and it does it with real conviction.
What we ate
The full experience, from oysters with achiote to a sope with tuna ceviche, then the tacos, some of the best in Copenhagen, served with stock for dipping and drinking. Add lime, onion and coriander, and the quesabirria in particular is rich, comforting and honestly the perfect bite. For dessert, mandarin sorbet with Tajín chili salt, super fresh with just a hint of heat, and then the churros, honestly some of the best we have ever had: horchata ice cream, caramel sauce, pure magic.
The drinks
The spicy margarita is a go-to, and the Negroni hits different: rich, balanced and finished with cacao, unreal. Some of the best cocktails we have had in the city.

Bring a date or a taco-obsessed friend and order wide across the raw bar, tacos and cocktails. It is cozy and buzzy, great for a night that starts with oysters and ends with churros and a second Negroni.
