Home » Slurp Ramen
A heavyweight of the Copenhagen ramen game doubled down this year with a new city center spot. This is Slurp, Copenhagen ramen at its peak: seasonal produce, handmade noodles and broth that hits hard.
Slurp is a fixture of the Copenhagen ramen scene, with the OG branch on Nansensgade and a newer location on Borgergade that they opened earlier this year. It runs walk-ins only, so you show up, put your name in and settle in for one of the better bowls in the city.

The shio ramen, a double broth made from chicken and smoked mackerel and seafood, light yet powerful, layered with pink peppercorns and fresh herbs like lemon thyme, basil and arugula. Clean flavors, springy noodles and pure balance in every bite. Then the nduja miso, a dinner-only bowl: creamy chicken broth with nduja butter, spicy pork and burnt onion oil, finished with an anchovy-lemon dressing. Bold and addictive. Of course we got our chicken karaage fix, juicy fried chicken with a squeeze of lime and Japanese mayo, always a crowd pleaser. And do not forget the amazu plate: pickled carrots, daikon and cucumber, crunchy and sour, the perfect counter to rich ramen and fried chicken.

Walk-ins only means it is best for the flexible: solo at the counter, or a small group happy to wait a little for a table. Time your arrival off-peak if you can, but honestly the bowl is worth a short queue.
Bold, crafted ramen with clever flavors. Slurp is next level, and for ramen fans it is a must.
But now… the real question is… where do we go next?
